MePA was established in 2013 with the mission to elevate health awareness, improve patient care access, and advance health equity. We strive to achieve our mission through impactful community service projects that predominantly serve patients of Middle Eastern descent.
Through education and collaboration, we aim to make a lasting and positive impact on the well-being of underserved populations in our community.
Free Community Health Screenings
Collaborating with local non-profit organizations, we offer complimentary screenings for blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, and other cardiometabolic risk factors that affect underserved communities.
Culturally Sensitive Care
At MePA, our volunteers undergo training to deliver culturally sensitive care to patients, taking into account their health literacy, linguistic and cultural barriers, as well as access to affordable healthcare, during counseling and referrals with our patients.
Advancing Health Equity
